GTN Divine Expedition Training in Nepal

BEFORE THE COVID PANDEMIC

One of the last Global Training Network Divine Expedition trainings we did before the Covid Pandemic was in Nepal. In fact, as we finished our training, Phil Graf and I flew to China where we spent the night. When we landed in Chengdu, China we noticed everyone was wearing masks—everyone except us. The next day we flew on to Beijing, then Seattle, then home.

The good news is that we were far enough along in our cycle of training that the Nepalese were beginning to train along side us. One of those Nepalese trainers was Pastor R. (name protected due to the fact that Christian leaders are at risk due to the Hindu government).

Where Nepal is:

PASTOR R. AND DIVINE EXPEDITION TRAININGS

While we had to put our travel and trainings on pause until some of the panic and insanity subsided, we were able to do some training and stay connected with our Nepalese trainers on Zoom. After flight restrictions were lifted, Phil was able to return to Nepal and commission Pastor R. as our national director. Here are some of the trainings he has led in the past year.

Pastor R.K. would like to have the DET in his church in Kathmandu.
There will be another DET beginning at another church in Kathmandu in July.

LALITPUR
Pastor R. just completed P1 July 6-7.

Each phase is 2 days long. The people are local and return home at night.  Below is a map of where some of the cities are located followed by photos of some of the trainings.

2 Timothy 2:1–2 tells us,

“You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

It’s happening in Nepal. Thanks for being part of it.

To the praise of His glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One He loves (Jesus),
